September 19, 2008 (INDIANAPOLIS) — Apparatus named 22nd in Top 25 List: Fastest-Growing Private Companies.
Indianapolis Business Journal compiles its annual lists of fastest-growing private companies through the following procedures:
Submissions were solicited through announcements in IBJ; letters to bankers, attorneys and accountants; and telephone calls to various companies reputed to be experiencing fast growth.
Companies are ranked based on their revenue growth over a three-year period. Companies were eligible if:
- revenue increased each fiscal year;
- revenue exceeded $1 million in fiscal year 2005;
- the company was an independent, privately held corporation, proprietorship or partnership (not a subsidiary or division) through Dec. 31, 2007;
- the company was founded prior to Jan. 1, 2005;
- the company was based in the Indianapolis area (Marion, contiguous and Madison counties).
Accuracy of the entries was verified by letters from the companies' outside accountants, or through the companies' submitting their tax returns.
The list of fastest-growing public companies was compiled using information from public documents and company sources.
Apparatus has also made the list in 2006 and 2007.
